Services has its own remanufacturing plant in its Altens premises, and
recycles toner cartridges for laser printers and fax machines. This offers our
clients a quality recycled product, while saving money, and helping to save the
environment. All cartridges are remanufactured as integral units ensuring compatibility with the component parts. Most remanufactures work by breaking down cartridges to their component parts, and reassembling a piecemeal cartridge at the final stages of assembly. Here at Grampian Technical Services, we reassemble the same cartridge and component parts, offering a more rigid final product. While it is perceived that not all component parts require changing during the remanufacturing process, GTS as standard replace all consumable parts including drums, blades, etc. whether it appears to require it or not.
